Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of PartyWelcome. Creating an event or submitting an RSVP confirms agreement to them.
Effective September 5, 2026Who may use PartyWelcome
You must be at least 18 years old to create or manage an event. If you are not old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Children under 13 must not submit personal information or upload photographs; a parent or guardian should reply for them.
Host responsibilities
Hosts are responsible for the event details they publish, the people they invite, the contact information they upload, and the visibility settings they choose. A host must have a lawful and reasonable basis to contact each guest and must not use PartyWelcome for unsolicited marketing.
The private host link controls the event. Keep it confidential. Actions taken through a valid host link are treated as authorized by the host unless PartyWelcome has been told that the link is compromised.
Guest responsibilities
Guests must provide accurate replies and may use the edit link only for their own household. Public notes, photographs, and album links must be appropriate for the event and must not expose another person’s private information without permission.
Acceptable use
Do not use PartyWelcome to break the law, threaten or harass anyone, impersonate another person, distribute malware, evade messaging opt-outs, scrape personal information, interfere with the service, or publish content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not create events whose primary purpose is bulk advertising, fraud, or collecting sensitive information unrelated to attendance.
Your content
You keep ownership of event text, photographs, and other content you submit. You give PartyWelcome a limited license to host, copy, resize, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it.
Hosts may remove or hide event content. PartyWelcome may remove content or restrict an event when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, comply with law, or keep the service working.
Email, text messages, and WhatsApp
Hosts may ask PartyWelcome to deliver event email or paid text messages. The host confirms that each recipient expects the message and that the contact information is accurate. Text recipients can reply STOP. Carrier message and data rates may apply.
WhatsApp and phone sharing open applications on the host’s device. Those services are governed by their own terms, and PartyWelcome does not control how a host chooses recipients there.
Payments and refunds
Invitation creation, link sharing, email delivery, RSVP collection, host controls, registries, and photo features are currently free. Direct text delivery is a one-time $5 purchase for an event. Stripe processes the payment.
If a paid text-delivery purchase cannot be used because PartyWelcome failed to activate it, contact hello@partywelcome.com for review. Charges for messages already queued or sent are normally final unless applicable law requires otherwise. Prices and paid features may change for future purchases, but a change will not alter a completed purchase.
Third-party services
PartyWelcome may link to Stripe, Twilio, Resend, Google Maps, Google Photos, iCloud, registries, and other services. PartyWelcome is not responsible for third-party content, availability, transactions, or privacy practices.
Service changes and termination
We may change, suspend, or stop a feature and may limit access when needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or misuse. You may stop using PartyWelcome at any time and may request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that logically continue after use ends, including ownership, payment, disclaimers, and dispute terms, remain in effect.
Disclaimers
PartyWelcome is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. PartyWelcome does not organize, supervise, endorse, or guarantee an event, guest conduct, venue, registry, outside link, delivery time, or attendance count. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.
Limits on liability
To the extent permitted by law, PartyWelcome will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or event costs. PartyWelcome’s total liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid PartyWelcome during the twelve months before the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.
Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by Delaware law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Delaware, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. Before filing a claim, contact hello@partywelcome.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to address it.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented in the service when appropriate. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept that version.
