Registry wording
Elena and Marcus have a registry for anyone who would like gift ideas. Gifts are optional; we would most like to see you.
Group gifts
Name the item, contribution method, and organizer. Do not display who contributed or how much unless everyone has agreed.
Books, diapers, and meal trains
Specific requests are easiest to follow when the size, condition, or sign-up link is included. Avoid asking guests for a registry gift plus a second required item.
No gifts
Use a direct sentence: ‘No gifts, please.’ If guests keep asking, the host can suggest a card, meal, or charitable donation privately.
